Our Related Food Safety Services

We can arrange analysis in laboratories that specialise in chemical, biochemical, microbiological and sensory analysis.

Allergens and GMO Testing

The laboratories employ molecular biology techniques (such as Elisa, RT-PCR, LC-MS/MS) for the determination of GMO's, allergens and identification of animal, plant and bacterial species.

Microbiological Testing

Our microbiology tests help detect and ensure food is free from pathogenic and non-pathogenic organisms. Our laboratories are designed and built according to strict structural criteria, in order to avoid any cross contamination and any accidental contamination of tested products.

Contaminants Testing

The laboratories are equipped with cutting-edge technologies that enable us to determine the presence of a wide range of contaminants in food, such as pesticide residues, mycotoxins, process contaminants (3-MCPD, acrylamide, furans etc.), persistent organic pollutants (POPs, IPA, dioxin, PCB etc.), and heavy metals.

Food Conact Materials Testing

The safety of Food Contact Materials (FCM) is a key part of food safety. The laboratories define and perform compliance tests for materials intended to come into contact with food products.

Nutritional Testing

The testing services help identify the nutritional composition of food, food supplements, and feedstuffs in terms of their macro elements content and qualitative properties.

Other determinations not specifically provided for under the general provisions are made on the basis of the grain as a whole, except the determination of door is made on either the basis of the grain as a whole or the grain when free from broken corn and foreign material.

Barley Inspection

Each determination of heat damaged kernels, injured-by-heat kernels, and white or blue aleurone layers in Six-rowed barley is made on pearled, dockage-free barley.
